Mission

My goal is to provide dependable, individualized and loving care for all of my clients’ dogs and cats. With many years of experience in all areas of the companion pet care field. I am committed to the safety and well being of all pets in my care and to the peace of mind of their owners. From assisting my late father Albert M. Berkelhammer, VMD; at his veterinary hospital since the age of 7, I have gained a great breadth of knowledge and experience in the field. I take a personal and thorough approach to my work, and I have a lifelong love and strong rapport with dogs and cats. Over the years I have managed nearly all kinds of medical and surgical cases on a daily basis. I have also raised and shown many litters of English setters starting in 1972. Several of my setters were winners in English setter specialty shows. I help in arranging to find good homes for the many unwanted and homeless pets in our community.
