 -Mr. Stephen Berkelhammer is a highly motivated extremely competent animal care professional who loves animals and who is dedicated to their good health and well being.

Stephen with his father Doctor Albert M. Berkelhammer VMD provided outstanding care for our family’s pets for over 30 years. Doctor Berkelhammer had been our entire family’s Veterinarian for over 54 years.

Stephen possesses a deep sincere love, compassion, devotion and caring for animals. Stephen provides boarding care for our family pets. We board our two dogs with Stephen frequently as we travel on vacation or on business.

As a matter of fact several of our pets were given to us by Stephen and Doctor Berkelhammer. These were either pets that were abandoned by their owners or rescued by Stephen from people who did not take proper care of them.

I highly recommend Stephen to take care for and board animals. He can be depended on to provide your pet the highest quality care.

Stephen is one of the most creative people with whom I have ever had the pleasure to meet. It became very obvious to me after my first interaction with Stephen that he was an extremely conscientious and hard-working individual. He can be well characterized by his dedication to work, and ability to troubleshoot problems . He combines a good sense of goal-oriented drive and is extremely organized. He resolved problems by phone and kept his father on schedule.

Stephen has been caring for our animals for over a year and has always done a wonderful job.  His responsibilites include coming to our house daily during the week to walk our dog and caring for the animals when we're away.  On his weekday visits he's reliably at our house by midday.  He takes the dog for long walks.  Afterwards he gives her fresh water and leaves us a note describing what occurred.  When we're away he takes care of any combination of our dog and two cats, feeding,  watering them and walking as necessary.  On a trip we took our dog he came twice a day to care for the cats.  He has always been completely reliable and trustworthy.  He notifies us well in advance of any conflicts so we're given plenty of time to make alternative plans for our animals.
